Utensils needed:
- 1/2 lb ground beef (250 g)
- 1/2 lb ground lamb (250 g)
- 1/2 onion, grated or pulsed in a food processor
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- small handful of parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.5 tsp seven spice or all spice powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- pinch red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp oil for cooking
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup cherry jam (8 oz, 250 g)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 1 lemon, squeezed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
