- 1/4 cup ground almonds
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

- 245 g plain flour (all-purpose)
- 2 blood oranges (about 200g, rinsed and dried, quartered and any pips removed)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
- 115 g unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
